Riverside Logistics was proud to participate in the 3rd Annual Richmond LogistXGames held on April 20, 2017. A record high eleven teams competed this year comprised of employees of the top local logistics providers in the Richmond area. The four events incorporated activities like those performed daily in the logistics work environment. Although Riverside was not able to repeat as champion, they enjoyed the friendly, competitive event and look forward to sending another team next year!
The RVA LogistXGames are sponsored by CBRE/Richmond and the Community College Workforce Alliance. It is designed to showcase the talents of employees in this business sector, as well as emphasize the importance of logistics and distribution services in the region. The event directly benefits logistics programs available through the Community College Workforce Alliance.
Riverside Logistics operates three warehouses near the Richmond Airport, only a short distance from the Port of Richmond. The warehouse employees handle over 60,000 shipments annually which equals approximately 1.8 million cases. Riverside wishes to congratulate all the teams that participated, and CBRE and the Community College Workforce Alliance for sponsoring such a fun, successful event.
